Hurricane Dorian, which hit the northern Bahamas as one of the strongest Atlantic hurricanes on record, has caused extreme destruction on the Grand Bahama and Abaco Islands and has killed multiple people there. Evacuations were ordered for parts of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina as the Hurricane continued to move northward toward the U.S., where it eventually made landfall in North Carolina.
