This fall, the Williams Sonoma brand entered its seventh year of supporting No Kid Hungry. Over the past six years, Williams Sonoma has helped raise over $5.5 million to support No Kid Hungry. That translates to 55 million meals where kids live learn, and play, and includes healthy breakfast served to children in schools across America.
1 in 6 children in the United States face hunger. That number is the inspiration behind our drive to keep making a difference and our commitment to this cause and with your help it really is getting better. Last year that number was 1 in 5.
These past six years have been a meaningful journey for all of us, as together we have committed to connecting children in need to healthful meals across the country - in the communities where our customers shop and in the neighborhoods where our associates live.
This year, our goal is to raise $2.5 million, which will help connect children in need to nearly 25 million meals. Together, we will make a difference in the lives of children in America.
